            <p>You will see by <persName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#PilkingtonWilhelmina">Mrs.
                  Pilkington's</persName> letter that she has cares enough ahead – but there is
               something very sweet in sticking to people in their trouble. – I have suggested her
               sending <persName>Nan</persName> in charge of <persName><unclear>Cherry</unclear></persName> or
                  <persName>Emmie</persName> direct to us, to go with us to <placeName
                  ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#Dover">Dover</placeName> on <date>April 5<hi
                     rend="superscript">th</hi></date> – Two &amp; two – will still leave you &amp;
                  <persName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#Kath">Kath</persName> very much together – as you will be much stronger than
               the rest. – And the girls will get to know <persName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#Kath">Kath</persName> thus as in no
               other way. – However, it may all fall through. – </p>
            <p>I had your dear little letter at night – my good child! I am so glad you are happy. –
                  <persName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#WaughEdith">Mrs. Hunt</persName> was with me all
               afternoon – <persName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#CraikGeorge">Papa</persName> &amp;
                  <persName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#PikeConnie">Connie</persName> rode to <placeName
                  ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#Knockholt">Knockholt</placeName>! – <persName
                  ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#WolleyEmily">Mrs. Wolley</persName> came in the evening. –
               I am going on pretty well – enjoying the delirious mild air – you can almost see the
               things growing – </p>
            <p>What a delightful house <persName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#MrsWarren">Mrs. Warren’s</persName> must be – how I wish I
               could have heard the Largo.<anchor xml:id="n1"/> – I am so very glad you went – I
               hope weather or no, you went to the <orgName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#Davies"
                  >Davies</orgName> – I wished it particularly – <persName
                  ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#SirRichard">Sir Richard</persName> was so exceedingly kind
               about <persName>Harry</persName> long ago. – </p>
            <p>Your <persName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#Poussie">Poussie</persName> was in the kitchen
               last night – but did not come to breakfast this morning – he cordially misses you
               awfully – &amp; so does everybody – But you will home to lunch tomorrow – your
                  <unclear>pockes</unclear> can only wait till then – <persName
                  ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#MissAllen">Miss Allen</persName> will want you – </p>
