                <p>Will it suit you &amp; <persName ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#LaneMary">Mrs.
                        Lane</persName> if I come on <date>Tuesday</date> afternoon – I suppose
                    there is the 5 P.M. train <add place="above">from <placeName
                            ref="CraikSiteIndex.xml#Waterloo">Waterloo</placeName></add>? – But
                    should like to be certain. &amp; can’t find out here.</p>
                <p>I have been busy “settling” – or preparing to settle. – We take possession of our
                    little cottage on <date>Saturday</date> – tomorrow week – when I shall have to
                    come home but even that small <unclear>stuff</unclear> <!-- this is almost certainly not stuff, double check this --> of you all will be very
                    pleasant to me.</p>
